Returning back after a few weeks of hiatus. After two publications in a row I realized a weekly periodical is more than I want to maintain and keep up with as one singular writer. But the beauty of this is that I’m my own boss and can write about what I want, when I want. So with that being said, a big thank you for lending me your eyes, ears, and your time today.
This past weekend, I was at the Rendezvous Music Festival at Spirit of the Suwanee music park, in Live Oak, FL. Words fail to describe the cultural significance this location holds in my life. Dancing barefoot underneath live oaks and Spanish moss in the amp, there are few things in the world that can fulfill the feeling I get when I am there. For your auditory delight I’ve included a track that had Abe and I
bouncing (Yes I purchased this track on bandcamp so that I could embed it here for you to listen.) And a quck vid of Detox Unit’s set Ft. the SWAAAAMP This festival is a real treat, the amount of unreleased music that can only be heard at that event live, is really mind blowing, and I am blessed I got to experience it this weekend. Thanks to everyone that made it so great.

Looks fun right????? It was :)
Anyway enough of the wookery time for the knowledge!
My last entry focused on the Beef in the Middle East, as Iran had launched an unprecendted attack on Israel- well things haven’t gotten much better. The regional chaos has spilled into American academia. Over the last few weeks there have been Pro-Palistinian encampments occupying many universities. Proponents of these encampments will tell you that they are “anti-war & anti-genocide.” But at what point does anti-war and anti-genocide mean physically blocking Jewish students from attending classes, chanting for Intifada revolution, and death to America? They are protesting “Illegal occupation and apartheid” while knowingly doing the same on their private university campuses. It’s all perfomative and really has no merit other than creating chaos and pissing off the rest of us. To those who are calling for boycotts, divestments, and sanctions on the state of Israel- Pony the fuck up and throw out your phone and anything with an intel processing chip in it, and be sure to that your daily SSRI’s aren’t coming from an Israeli pharmaceutical company.
Antisemites when they realize the CEO of Instagram is an Israeli, & boycotting Starbucks does nothing to influence Israel and it’s policies.
But instead let’s focus on the players whose actions actually have an effect on the world more than just moral pollution. As Israel continues on its mission of erradicating Hamas, it has initiated a ground invasion of Hamas’ last bastion - Rafah. Biden said in an interview with CNN that aired on Wednesday night in the U.S. that he would refuse to send more bombs and artillery shells to Israel if it proceeds with an operation in Rafah. The warning came after he decided to put on hold the delivery of a shipment of 2,000- and 500-pound bombs, the first time that he has chosen to withhold the supply of the types of weapons that Israel uses in Gaza. This is not the first time that Biden has threatened Israel by withholding aid. In response, Netanyahu in a speach on Yom Hashoa stated “I say to the leaders of the world, no decision by any international forum will stop Israel from defending itself,” he says in the speech. “If Israel is forced to stand alone, Israel will stand alone.” - Bro takes absolutely no shit from anyone thats for sure.
Some things just never change I guess.
Y’all wanna talk sports?
NBA PLAYOFFS BABYYYYY
Just another day in the office for Nikola Jokic winning his 3rd MVP in 4 Years. Now lets fucking act like it bro, Down 2 games to 0 in the second round? Let’s go buddy your horses and minions are counting on you! IF the Nugs can get past this lockdown D the wolves are playing I’d say we could be looking at one legendary series.
Anyway we got 8 teams left, and seeing the Knicks not only still kicking it, but up 2-0 makes me feel like it’s 2013 or something, 2 more wins and they go to their first conference final in 24 years.
The Celtics and Thunder, the top seeded teams are both up 1-0 in their series and are playing tonight. Good Luck and have fun I say. What a wonderful time of year, I hope you agree.
Don’t ask me about champions league I didn’t watch any of the semi finals🤷🏽🤷🏽-but that’s ok: Champions League Final is June 1st between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
Well that’s All I have for you all today, not much, but it didn’t feel right for me to let another week pass without writing something. As always get at me and let me know what you think.
